For tour managers & production teams
Concert tour
trucking quotes
Plan the whole run.
Know what you're booking.
Your transportation quote should reflect the equipment, the schedule, and every stop that matters. TET helps you work through the details for concert tours, live events, and production moves, from a single truck to a multi-truck run.
Have a working itinerary? That's enough to start the conversation.
Build a useful budget
What affects a concert
tour trucking quote?
Two tours with similar mileage can require very different transportation plans. A quote needs to account for the full period the trucks are needed, the equipment on board, and the time available between stops.
The complete itinerary
Include the first pickup, rehearsals, show stops, rental returns, and final delivery. Those additional movements belong in the transportation scope.
Days on the road
Drive days, show days, and off days all affect equipment availability. Confirm how each day is handled in the written quote.
Trucks & equipment
Case dimensions, weight, loading order, and handling requirements help determine the truck count. A gear list is more useful than a rough guess.
The time between shows
Late load-outs and early load-ins can change the staffing and routing needed. Share actual receiving windows so the schedule can be reviewed.
Venue & loading details
Dock access, ramps, parking, waiting time, and available loading crews need to be understood before the work is priced.
Borders & storage
Flag international dates, equipment added during the run, and storage between legs. Ask which services and outside costs are included.
A reliable estimate starts with the route and scope. TET reviews your specific production rather than applying a generic price to every tour.

The tour trucking
quote checklist
Send what you have and mark anything still tentative. A routing sheet and equipment list give us a practical starting point for reviewing your move.
Opens a prepared checklist in your email app. You can fill it in and attach your itinerary before sending.
- Tour, dates & contactsProduction name, your contact details, the first equipment-ready time, and the final delivery deadline.
- Every stop on the routeVenue names, addresses, show dates, rehearsal locations, load-in windows, and expected load-out times.
- The equipment to moveCase counts, dimensions, weight, truck estimate, and details for backline, audio, lighting, video, staging, or other gear.
- Loading & special requirementsDock or ramp access, loading assistance, parking restrictions, rental pickups, international dates, and storage needs.
Before you book
Compare the scope.
Then compare the number.
A lower total may cover a different job. Give each transportation provider the same itinerary and equipment list, then check the written terms side by side.
- Included work
- Are rehearsal moves, all show stops, the final return, and the correct number of trucks covered?
- Timing
- Are pickup windows, off days, waiting time, and the end of the truck commitment clearly defined?
- Additional costs
- How are fuel, tolls, parking, storage, and other applicable charges handled? Confirm what the quoted total includes.
- Changes & booking
- What happens if dates, routing, or truck count change? Check payment terms, cancellation terms, and how availability is confirmed.

Useful answers
Tour trucking
quote questions
How much does concert tour trucking cost?
There is no single rate that describes every production. Route, duration, truck count, loading needs, and schedule all affect the quote. Send TET your itinerary and equipment details for a review of your particular run.
Can I request a quote before all dates are confirmed?
Yes. Send your current routing and label tentative stops. When dates, equipment, or access requirements change, share the updated version so the transportation plan, price, and availability can be reviewed.
Are days without shows included in the quote?
Do not assume an off day is free or outside the booking. Confirm the full period the trucks are committed and how drive days, show days, and off days are treated in your written quote.
How far ahead should I arrange tour trucking?
Start the discussion as soon as you have a working itinerary. An early review gives you more time to resolve routing, equipment, and loading details. Availability must still be confirmed for the dates and trucks you need.
Can the request include multiple trucks or equipment storage?
Yes. Include your estimated truck count, how the equipment is divided, and any storage dates or access needs. These details help TET review the transportation and storage scope together.
